Getting mad at an AB is different than getting mad at an approach. Saying Francona takes a horrible approach to managing is much different than questioning a bullpen move. So saying that Ellsbury had a bad AB is different than saying he doesn't work the count enough, because clearly being aggressive is an approach that is working very well.

Seattle just showed the Sox how to score 3 runs without breaking a sweat. Which is usually how they score runs. Walks, errors and seeing eye hits.

I'm not saying his overall approach is bad, just that with a runner on second and two outs, it's probably good to work the count a bit. I didn't like that one AB. I'm not complaining about all of his ABs.

 

However, complaining about reactionary posts is rather silly. What's the point in having a game thread if you can't be annoyed about little things here and there? I'm not a robot, I'm a fan. I reserve the right to complain about Scutaro one day and Lowrie the next. Just the same as some people can complain that Tito is a terrible manager, when his results have been far from that.
