We gather here today to watch the beloved Tim Wakefield collect his 200th victory as a major-leaguer. It has been a long road for Tim, from being a vital piece of the Red sox rotation to that old man who everyone wanted gone during spring training. Tonight, he dominates. The knuckleball will dance to the point that Hawk Harrelson will be forced to utter his annoying "STRETCH!" call on mere pop-ups to the middle-infielders.

A new streak of rape begins tonight, mark my words.

Sorry guys, that lineup is INCORRECT. Gonzo is scratched with a sore neck (wtf? get over it you get paid 150 million $)

Jacoby Ellsbury, CF

Dustin Pedroia, 2B

David Ortiz, DH

Kevin Youkilis, 1B

Josh Reddick, RF

Carl Crawford, LF

Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C

Drew Sutton, 3B

Marco Scutaro, SS

Not sure (with Gonzo out) why Theo didn't put Pedroia in the #4 spot and Reddick/Sutton/Scoot in the #2 -- Pedroia thrives @ #4

Sadly, I have to watch the Giants Vs. Reds on MLB network. Well, I like watching the Giants, a lot, so... Guess I need to buy MLB.TV now!!

And yes, I guess it is better to rest and be safe with our expensive RBI Machine. I just want the Sox to beat the Sox. They always f*** us up.

He's also a 150 million dollar investment. If it helps him to be 100% to take a game or two off here and there, then so be it. It's easy for us to talk about how big a wuss he sounds like for having a sore neck or as lots of you dirt dog lovers would say, a "broken pussy".

I'd sure as s*** rather be cautious than force him to play. Considering he has a history of playing every day (he has averaged right around 160 games per season) I think it's safe to say that it must be somewhat painful to work through if he's sitting out.
