I think Kennedy has a real shot if he wins 20. The Dbacks will win their division.

Verlander is a no-brainer in the AL. The only question is whether he gets enough votes for MVP--some of the writers won't vote for a pitcher.

I really don't think Kennedy even cracks the top 3 in the NL CY race. Kershaw, Halladay, and Lee are killing him in ERA, WAR, K's, and to a lesser extent, IP. You can't really even try the argument about supporting casts given that the Diamondbacks offense has scored more runs this year then both Philly and LA (obviously). Kennedy is basically even with Halladay in terms of run support (Halladay gets .02 more RS this year) and gets more run support then either Lee or Kershaw.

The fact is that wins matter and his winning percentage is outstanding. Kennedy will finish in the top two in the voting.
