Pure Power showed last game, 3 HRs and RBI were enough to win the Game # 1 of this split doubleheader. Duel of aces tonight, confirmed at least on NESN, FOX DET, and MLB.com. Beckett with a amazing 1.63 ERA will face Verlander (3.42) again. Our offense has to make some adjustments and show more discipline AB than showed last 6 innings on Game 1 (and part of the game 2/4 ) against Verlander.

 

Let's keep this streak, the path to the CY Young continues today!

DETROIT — As the radar map from Weather.com shows, we've got some major bad weather coming this way.

 

There's a tornado watch for this area and the tarp is already on the field weighed down by 11 tractors of varied sizes.

 

We will keep you posted as to the status of the game.
