Some of you guys can be real dumb asses sometimes. You really think Tito is pulling Beckett for the hell of it?

 

I am hoping and praying that's what he's doing. If Beckett goes down for some reason or another, we're up s*** creek without a paddle.

You should try it when we're down 6-0 to a guy like Tillman. Its much more natural.

i was saying that at this point if we give the start to Wake, why not to Albers?, I mean, what can we lose?, (won't miss the bonehead that will say "he's not a starter" and Wake at this point, is he?)

He can still hit lefties and he can still hit the elite pitchers. Hitting it that far on a night like tonight is no easy feat.

They'll be alright. Win tonight. Worry about tomorrow when it comes. Never know. Could be up or down 8-0 for the next 3 nights, and if we put in Oki or something tonight and he loses it, it would be brutal.

Makes no sense. Velocity was there. Ball was consistently down. Control was there. No indication of an injury.

Crawford has been awfully hesitant to run this year.

 

Hopefully as the weather warms up, his bad warms up and he gets on base a bit more and can get his timing down.

First of all, name a game where Tito pulled a starter with 83 pitches who had been pitching well.

 

I think I'm thinking of the same game your are, the one against the Angels where he was pulled after 7 with 93 pitches.

 

After that game, Francona was asked if Lester wanted to go out for the 8th and said "there was no resistance".
