I have officially began operation Fire Francona.

 

I have decided to make a website to express the frustrations he has put us through over the years.

 

I would love some thoughts and ideas for the web site along with anyone who would like to participate in making this.

 

Below is my first ad for the site!

 

 

 

 

 

You're a complete fool. I love these fans who think because they think they can second guess a MLB manager that they or someone else could do a better job, for every move a manager makes there's an alternative, there's an alternative philosophy, it's endless.

 

So stop pretending you can outshine a manager who with two rings just because some things he does don't go right, you have clearly been fooled into believing that because he's made mistakes, and that calls go wrong that he isn't a good manager.

 

I guarantee you don't notice or care about every decision he gets right, because you're too wrapped up in your own conceit and bile to notice or care.

 

This is typical of the cry-babies that believe their team should have every single close game but for the manager.

 

You sit at home screaming at the TV for a guy not to do something (or 95% of the time after the event), when you have ZERO knowledge of what info he has, or what strategy he's working on, and then you arrogantly assume that your 'plan' would have worked perfectly, never thinking it could actually have ended up much worse.

It's my opinion dude. If it makes you mad then so be it. Yes he was the manager when we won 2 titles. Tito is also a great person and is great with the players and media but he is absolutely terrible at situational play and bullpen management. A lot of people can back me up and some with disagree but its my opinion...here's a tissue.

Fans like you also make fans like us sick because you suck on Francona's nuts all day just because he won two rings. I'll admit he is a great players manager and can usually put together a decent lineup and is one hell of a playoff manager but have you watched him manage a pitching staff. Why in the f*** was Lester still in the game when he had no control all night and had 120+ pitches in a tie game, allow him to load the bases and still keep him in when he's tired and then allow him to give uo a 2 run single before taking him out. And with the game still close he brings Wheeler into a tough spot when Wheeler hasn't been good all year and then puts the game out of reach. Same with Aceves and then turning to Atchison who completely sucks who gives up a few more runs before we make a comeback from 9 down when maybe we would have only been 5 or 6 down.

 

It's little s*** like that that makes a lot of us go crazy. Fans like you are also annoying because you don't hear out others opinions before jumping on them. I was all for the fire Francona website until I listened to WB who said there is no better option. I agree with him but still don't like how Francona handles a pitching staff.

 

One more thing for anyone like you who says that he has 2 rings what exactly did he do so great in those 2 years? did he win the rings or did the players?

Criticizing the manager is part of American culture. Managers get hired to get fired. They get the blame whether or not they are to blame. It's a s simple as that. I don't know why people get so defensive. It goes with the territory. Unlike BS (Before Steinbrenner) managers, today's mangers make very good money to make out a lineup card and take a nap on the bench. Some don't even have the brain power to make out the lineup card-- remember a couple of years ago when Joe (Self-proclaimed genius) Maddon made out a lineup with two third basemen.

Well you just admitted that he sent out 3 BP arms that suck. Which resulted in double digit runs, instead of putting in someone decent to stop the bleeding. Which most likely would have resulted in a win lol. Tito needs to sack the f*** up. He gives up on so many games which makes it so frustrating to watch as a fan. This team will be down by 3-4 runs in the 6th inning and he will throw in the towel by sending out Wheeler or Atchison to spread their cheeks and get brutally raped. Great managing. Maybe if I was a Diamondbacks or Rays fan 2 WS rings would be a god dream come true. But I'm not and I'm pretty f***ing hungry for more.

I do not think Francona supporters can have it both ways- saying this crash is not his fault, and also give him credit for winning two world series. Either he has a lot to do with both or can not take credit for either.

 

Personly I think he is gone. I would suspect he will not want to come back. But either way, like it or not, fired or quits I think he is gone. So the real speculation is who do we hire. Bobby V. intrigues me.
