Yeah I don't get this move for a few reasons.

 

1. Tek and Buch do not mesh well together. They never have.

2. Salty has been improving significantly.

3. Salty is hitting .280 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI in his last 7 games.

4. Pitchers have a 2.14 ERA while throwing to Salty over the last 7 games, and he gunned down Chone Figgins with Wakefield pitching. Yes. Wakefield.

5. Most importantly, the Red Sox are 5-2 in Salty's last 7 games catching.
