The new acquisitions always have moments of wilting under the white hot spotlight. The only way a player wont wilt is if they are going from NY to Boston or vice versa. It happens. Right now, Crawford is scuffling a bit. AdGon will have his time as well. It's almost a right of passage. The only guy who didnt seem to have that was Manny, mostly because he's half retarded and a quarter savant

We'll take 2/3 at least from the Guardians, hopefully sweep. Beckett and DiceK both looked outstanding in their final ST games, so maybe we'll get a couple good starts out of them. After that, even the April version of Lester should be able to handle the Guardians. I wouldn't be surprised if we swept, but I'm expecting 2/3.

I feel bad for suns.

 

He cheers for the Browns (terrible).

 

He cheers for the Cavs (worst in the NBA).

 

He cheers for the Guardians (will be in the bottom 3 of baseball).

 

Its so boring to cheer for Boston. The Bruins (in the playoffs), Celtics (in the playoffs), Patriots (were in the playoffs) and Redsox (will be in the playoffs) are really boring to root for, you know...with all the winning we do around here.

The Sox are the equivalent of being 29.6% through the first game of an NFL season, or 1.51 games into an NBA season. Let's not get too worried too quickly here. Anyone who made a bet that the Sox weren't going to get swept at some point this season was going to lose that bed.

 

I think this team is goign to take a bit to come together. Not only did they add two new really important offensive pieces, they also are getting over a number of injuries from last year that kept guys like Ellsbury, Pedroia and Youkilis from ever forming the type of chemistry the otherwise would have. This team will get rolling, and when it happense it should be impressive.

Even if DiceK walks 6 batters, someone needs to bring them in, and hold down the sox offense, and play defense, and coach, and well, you know, play baseball. The sox could sleepwalk their way to a series win and if they play to their potential will sweep the series

When you continuously draft in the top 10 yr after yr, you should be good.
