I was thinking about making a team of players that weren't drafted. I think that we could make a good team of players that weren't drafted as long as we don't have to count their salaries.

Hey italy i dont know if u saw this but how long untill the power ranking are made, or what i should be asking is how long do i have to make my lineups?

I don't know really. I guess we can take any amount of time to make our lineups. I'd hope that people update their clubhouses and make their lineups within the next week or so in order to get started on the initial power rankings. As long as it's done before the regular season starts, then we're good. None of the actual voting is done until after the season.

I was deciding between 2 players, and since I doubt that anyone really needs cap relief, I might as well go with the more expensive player and hope he has a better season.

Pretty sure nobody is in trouble.

Yeah, a lot of teams could have made it under 100 million if need be. It was surprisingly easy to finish under the cap.

i made it under 100 million with drafting micheal young and john lackey even though i really didnt need too

Made it comfortably under 100 million. I'm actually below 90 million.

I really don't see how anyone could possibly go over the cap. 110 is plenty the build a strong solid team.

And compare that to the payrolls of many rosters. The 110 million is less than the payrolls of the Angels (121), Cubs (144), Mets (126), Phillies (138), Red Sox (168), Tigers (133), and Yankees (213).

 

Had I thought more about it, I probably would have set the cap at an even 100. Although I doubt many more teams are in between the 100 and 110 million caps, I know the White Sox are one of them.
