On another note, you already had 2 RF's, then you trade one away (one that costs 400k and durable and a great fielder) and you then draft another RF (giving you 2 RF's) and this one costs 14 million, is injury prone and is an ok fielder.

Salary isn't an issue. Drew's played 137 games in 3 of the last 4 seasons, so the injury proneness means he misses about 10 games a season compared to a regular OF. And the corner outfield positions are interchangeable. And Billingsley is a lot better than the rest of the available pitchers. And I get a better pick.

I don't feel like I lost a lot moving Choo from Drew; just about 10 games, and a little bit of production given Drew's aging.

Not to mention the biggest thing that bothers me with the trade is that we were set to trade Hanson for Choo, but then that trade "fell apart" because Forsyth drafted Jacoby Ellsbury, and then you turn and still trade Choo to Dipre for Chad f***** Billingsley.

Crafty trades by Dipre to get himself two great and one very good position player. If it's true Will could have had Hanson instead of Billingsley for Choo, he screwed himself over. Billingsley is a #2 at best. Hanson has a real good chance to be an ace.

Wow, so that was a huge day for draft picks. And that was included a 6.5 hour hiatus for Ytrb. Anyway, Forsyth should get things rolling in the morning and we can take things from there. Although I don't have anyone's picks anymore since we past the picks in the draft.
