The only BIG thing I disagree with is Scott Downs. I don't think there's a chance in hell that we should give up a high draft pick for him. I also don't see us getting Gonzalez before the season starts, if at all, but that's more of a pipedream.

I don't think the Sox will get A-gon either, but the way I see it, its a 15% chance they get him, and most of the other 1B/3B on the list are 10% or lower. Berkman, Pena, Lee, Dunn, Fielder, Agon, Lowrie, Beltre, Jeter.... there are just so many options, and I think that Agon has the highest chance.

 

And as far as draft picks-- I remember the Sox having a tendency to pick up a ton of type A's, or none at all. That way they maximize signings. They're getting five top-60 picks from their own FAs, so I think they'll be okay with it if they can get him at the right price on money.

In my opinion, i think they're both wrong. Youk jokes around a lot but this was an attempt at a legitimate thread, which i believe he should have respected. He could have made the joke but attempt to add something to the thread. He's one of my favorite posters, but he's also a mod and should act accordingly given the circumstances. On to JimEd, not much i can say other than the dude needs some Anger Management classes now. I think he would have been a much better lead for that movie than Adam Sandler ever was.

Ed never attempts to get familiar with anyone. He posts and attacks those who disagree with him. He has "the embarassing Red Sox fan syndrome" which includes a lot of ridiclous whining, moaning and bitching. He actually posted that the Rays didn't deserve to make the playoffs b/c of their fans. :dunno:

 

This thread may be legitimate but it is also ridiculous at this point in time. Who knows who will even be with the team at the start of ST.
