If you jinx it Flynnatic I'm going to hunt you down. I wanted to post something about it but I've been keeping my mouth shut to hopefully continue letting VCU ride the wave. If I was a moderator and Kansas came back and won, I'd ban you for jinxing it. ;)

VCU is still winning though lol?

You haven't seen the run? They'd be lucky to have the lead in another minute or two. I just spoke early because it's inevitable at this point. Whether or not VCU is clinging onto a lead that was once large doesn't mean that I'm not right about what's going to happen, or that Flynnatic shouldn't have said anything about it.

lol NOW you can say something Flynnatic. Not only is Uconn no longer the last #1 to lose to an 11, but it takes a really good Kansas team out of the tournament. Can't wait for UNC/Kentucky.

This is crazy, I'm definitely pulling for VCU to win it all. I guess in Kentucky/UNC game I want Kentucky to win because I like Brandon Knight, but I don't really care, I just want to see a good game.

I don't think he's nearly as quick as Iverson was coming out of college. They are very similar in the respect that they score a lot because of a high volume of shots, many of which are a poor decision. But, I don't think he has the game to lead the league in scoring like Iverson did.

So....I wonder where Kemba is gonna go in the draft. This kid reminds me a lot of Iverson' date=' without the off the court problems. I could see him as a top 5 pick[/quote']

I see him in the 5-10 category. In my opinion there are two things keeping him from being a top pick at this point, the first one is his shooting percentage as a whole, and the second one (which is far more important in my opinion) is his decision making. He takes (and makes) a lot of ugly looking shots early in the shot clock with men open, and he makes things a lot harder on himself than he has to. I think he could use his senior year to work on that, but I'm obviously biased as a Uconn fan and I don't see him staying, but I don't think he's going to be a top PG until he gets a better playmaking IQ. That said, the Heat should trade up to get Kemba Walker considering how clutch he is and how clutch they aren't. ;)

I've heard many coaches and scouts say that Iverson, at G'Town, had the quickest first step they've ever seen. AI and Kemba are similar in that they score a lot and make questionable decisions, but Kemba isn't nearly the talent that AI was.

EDIT: Didn't realize that I almost copied ORS' post verbatim. But yeah, they probably shouldn't be mentioned together.
