So, we all know (obviously) that the Red Sox can't win the World Series this season. Their two best players are on the disabled list, the bullpen has been awful latelY, Josh Beckett has Apparently conducted a secret voodoo ritual to chaNnel the spirit of Byun-Hung Kim (or possibly he has just removed his heart and consumed it), and most of all, they were mathematically eliminated in, liKe, July.

I know no onE on this site who is a fan of the team this sitE was created to support is rooting for the Yankees, mostly because the Yankees are the only thing worse than having teSticular cancer and Rosie O'Donnell for a wife AT THE SAME TIME, So who are you pulling for? Who would you like to see win one?

The Rangers, Rays, Giants, and Padres have never won a series (The Giants, at least not since they became the SF Giants). The Twins and Reds haven't won a series in over a decade. This is Bobby Cox's last season in Atlanta. The Phillies aren't the Yankees. The Yankees suck.

I personally will be pUlling for the Rangers or Rays. Rangers first, and Rays if the Rangers get knoCKed out first. I would love to see a team that hasn't won a Series yet win one.

What about the rest of you?

That's what caught my attention. I don't care who wins as long as it is not those Yankees.

I'm rooting for the Braves. Partly because of Bobby Cox's last season, but also because I rooted for the Phillies back in 2008, and their fans reminded me of why I should never root for the Phillies. And I will never root for the Yankees or the Rays. If they face each other, I'd just root for the stadium to collapse.

I don't mind rooting for the Rays. I like them beating the Sox on occasion and playing in the postseason much more than I liked the whole 'Red Sox and Yankees' every single damn season thing. Much more entertaining.

Rooting for the Rangers to win the whole thing. They have a really likable team, I love Mitch Moreland (Mississippi State), and I'm a huge Josh Hamilton fan.

In the NL I'll be rooting for whoever comes out of the NL West, then the Reds after them. I don't have a problem with any playoff teams but the Yankees. Don't care that much for the Braves but it's not really a big deal.

Obviously, I am a Yankee fan. But gun to head, who do I think makes the World Series? I'd go with Phillies-Rangers in probably the least viewed WS of all time. Reason being? Well, Philly has the rotation, the lineup and a serviceable pen. They shouldnt face any opposition in the NL. And the Rangers have Cliff Lee and CJ Wilson to start their rotation, as well as a hell of a lineup and a very good pen. I think the AL East teams beat the s*** out of each other a little too much. NY has CC and then what when it comes to playoff reliability. And Tampa Bay has been in a free fall for a few months as well as their offense has fallen off the map. Hope the Yanks prove me wrong, but I think this offseason teaches the Yankees that a second ace is necessary to navigate the AL East and then the playoffs.

Another thing hurting NY is the lack of home field advantage. I do think they take out the Twins, as I think the Twins are a team completely built entirely for the regular season. But in the ALCS, having home field instead of spending 4 of the 7 games in balmy Texas would have been very important.
