Agreed. I can't believe some of the other backs taken before Jackson. In my opinion he's easily one of the top 4 backs in the league.

I'm not sure about that. I'd put him 4th at best, but somewhere in the 5-7 range at worst. Don't get me wrong, he's a good running back, I just think that there are a few who are clearly better and another few that are comparable with Jackson.

When it comes to S-Jax, you have to consider how bad his O-line is and how mad the rest of the offense is...so he gets way too many carries, that takes a toll on you after a while. On a better team, who knows, he could be a top 3 back in the NFL

I understand that, however, Steven Jackson still isn't as fast as Chris Johnson, or as freakishly strong as Adrian Peterson. I think that puts him at 3rd even before the conversation starts. After that, he's roughly comparable with a bunch of the other backs. There would be a few others that I'd take over Jackson, but he's still a good back and one of the best of the remaining.

I would still personally take Ray Rice over him and its a push b/w him and MJD, since he hasn't proved what they have proved yet, I think he should be 4th or 5th back taken in most cases.

I'm in the same boat as you as I have the 2nd pick. Also, we were in the exact same position (dead middle) of the baseball redraft.
