As for the Phillie fan, I think the use of a taser was excessive, b ut I understand the officer's judgement (never thought I'd say that!)... in the heat of the moment chasing him down you don't know what the kid's going to do or if he's a risk to any of the players or fans, but being that he was a dumbass teenager (who actually called home to ask his dad if he thought it was a good idea before running out onto the field) trying to have fun it looks to have been a bit excessive.

 

Either way, it was funny to see him go down like that. At first when watching the video, I thought he intentionally dove face-first to the ground, but that clearly wasn't the case.

I don't disagree with you one bit, *******s shouldn't disrupt the players, fans, and the game in general by running onto the field. But it did look excessive when he went face first into the turf. I'm just surprised he was able to evade all of them for so long before getting hit with the taser.
