Josh Reddick has been sent down to Pawtucket, taking his place is Van Every

Red Sox acquired OF Jonathan Van Every from the Pirates for a player to be named later.

With injuries ravaging the Red Sox outfield, they have elected to bring back Van Every, who played seven games for them last season before signing a minor league contract with the Pirates during the offseason. Van Every will give them some depth while Jacoby Ellsbury is out and perhaps give Darnell McDonald a breather should he need one.

The bottom of that lineup scares me. Its not even May yet, and the outfield is composed of bench players.

That really astounds me. I remember when we had 5 guys in the OF who could thump.

They gotta get a move on with human cloning so we can have Ted back.

Someone started sewing a Matsuzaka jersey and gave up when they screwed up.

Yeah, that name just doesn't seem right. It seems unfinished. I think he needs another vowel to finish the name, like Matusza or something.
