Choke you very much Tex. Well, ARod is up and the tying run is at 1st. I smell another choke.

From idiot Singleton. "Teixeira got good wood on that one, but hit it up the silo." Dumbass. He missed the ball and popped it up

Singleton is a good listen.

For the bulk of Singleton's career, that constituted "good wood". I just hope, for his wife's sake, that doesn't carry over into his retirement.

That was even further inside than the bad call on strike one.
ARod was laughing because the pitch he took was a strike. Umps don't give calls like that to pieces of s*** like Uehara against an ARod. Umpire to rookie pitcher complaining about a call on Ted Williams: "Son, Mr. Williams will let you know when you throw a strike."

The Sox will characteristically drop 2 of 3 to Toronto. By the time the Sox face the Yanks' date=' they will be 8 games back and virtually eliminated[/quote']Remember this^

I get your point, but it really was a ball. Keep in mind that it isn't even as close as that link would make it seem, because they're showing a 24 inch strike zone, as opposed to the actual 17 inch strike zone.

According to A-Rod he was laughing because the entire O's dugout thought it was a strike, and they all almost jumped over the railing.

AJ looked very, very good. But his typical ******** was still there. A walk to lead off an inning that didnt score because he struck out 2 guys with a runner on 3rd. He hit a batter on 0-2 with nobody out who eventually scored without a hit. He gave up a homer to a guy who hadnt hit one all yr because he missed his spot by 2 feet. His stuff is so good that he gets away with a lot of s***. But his wildness, especially when it comes to leadoff hitters will not get by come playoff time. He was definitely impressive, but there is cause for concern

The other thing yesterdays big homers hid was the absolute abysmal RISP hitting. We left a boatload of runners on and still sucked at situational hitting. My hope is we can move Kearns back to 4th OFer tonight so Swisher can actually start for us. Kearns with RISP has been dreadful

Why the f*** do you bat Gardner in front of a guy who isnt going to drive him in? It makes no sense. If you want to use Gardner at the bottom of the order, you need to have him followed by a guy who can drive him in or the top of the order.
