I love Nick's patience, but someone who gets to so many three ball counts should be making more solid contact than he does. Hopefully that turns around.

Outside of two relatively hard hit ground balls last night, Robbie really hasn't hit the last two series.

EDIT: Worst part of that AB is that the Yankees were probably pretty close to getting Braden out of the game. Instead, that probably bought him at least a few more batters.

Between Braden and Zeigler, the Yankees are seeing lots of deception. I do like though that Joe didn't go to Posada there, and instead is saving him for a better opportunity.

Better pitch right there than the one Zeigler got last inning. Regardless of the result, this will be CC's last batter.

EDIT: The contrast between Braden/Zeigler and Bailey might be a bit too much for the Yankees to handle. Thames is due up fifth. If the inning gets that far, I'm guessing that's where we'll see Posada.

EDIT 2: Thought that was gone off the bat.

EDIT 3: Extremely frustrating. Bailey has very little out there right now, and the Yankees can't even get anything going.

Wow, if you had told me Bailey was going to look like that in the ninth, I would have been sure that the Yankees would put up a fight. Instead nothing. The offense looked lost the entire day.

Wow. Great play by A-Rod' date=' delivering a perfect throw without setting his feet, after stepping on third. Also, a nice turn by Robbie.[/quote']

That was a sweet triple play. Have to give A-Rod credit there.

Buddy, you gotta relax. We've won every series. You can't win every game.

A-rod doesn't know baseball's unwritten rules again. You never run over the mound as a non pitcher.

List of A-rod Blunders on Baseball rules.

1. Running over the mound.

2. Calling I got it while running to mess up fielders.

3. Trying to slap the Ball Away.

Someone should teach A-rod the unwritten rules of Baseball.

But anyway great play by A-rod on the Triple Play.

You're adding a connotation to my post that isn't there. At the moment, when Bailey isn't throwing the ball well, but the Yankees aren't doing anything, it's obviously going to be frustrating to watch for a Yankee fan. That doesn't say anything about my overall feelings about the team, just that individual moment.

There were a lot of analysts who said that they've never heard of that rule. This whole unwritten rule garbage is entirely subjective, and what is OK to someone, might not be OK to someone else. You can't get on someone over something that is as flimsy as a silly notion that you're supposed to run one foot (or so) away from where the player actually ran.

As for him yelling "I got it", check a replay, and watch his lips. He yelled, but it pretty clearly isn't "I got it", and it doesn't appear to be words at all. That's a misrepresentation on your part. Additionally, parallel to yesterday's incident, there were many analysts who spoke up at the time and said that players do things like that frequently.

Someone should teach him the unwritten rules of manhood as well. Just ask Kate Hudson's boobs.

The mound is meant for the pitcher.

As for the I got it thing. You still don't yell. W/e he yelled at to the 3rd baseman it is still bush league.

Scumbag move by that horseface ******* . He leveled the kid catcher even though he had the entire plate opened and the catcher was on the first base side of the plate. The kid got carried off the field. It was unnecessary and downright dirty, and to the credit of the YES crew, they are calling Tex on it big time.

Diony did his part to man the douchebag defense squad. Another fine example of why it was such a good idea to let him back. His contributions to the board are limitless.
