I figured that the Cardinals could have done better than that' date=' but I'm not surprised about the Mets.[/quote']

Mets have got to feel like s***. 2 runs off of Fielders who were pitching.

So Danny Haren went 4-4 tonight...

The Padres also beat the Giants 1-0 and had 1 hit.

But got his ass kicked, giving up 7 ER, i have him on my fantasy team, and forgot to take him off the bench for last night's game. THANK GOD.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure fantasy leagues don't count pitchers batting stats. A few years ago I owned Carlos Zambrano and I believe he went 4-4 with a homer and I didn't get his hitting stats.

Four games into the season Halladay is 4-0 with 2 CGs and a 0.82 ERA. We know he's good, but the NL is making him look like Pedro in his prime.

Glaus got robbed of a HR off Halladay today. But yeah, he is dominating. He could definitely win 25 games.

I hope Tim Lincecum enjoyed his two Cy Young Awards.

I don't know, I wouldn't count Lincecum out, his stats are insane thus far as well.

3-0

0.90 ERA

0.80 WHIP

24 k's in 20 innings

2 runs (2 earned).

Lincecum is making his 4th start on Friday.

He's not going to keep up that kind of a pace, but the National League really is a joke compared to the American League East. It's probably not a coincidence that Javier Vazquez had a sub-3 ERA last year in the National League, yet he had the worst year of his career in 2004 in the American League East and he's off the worst start of a season that he's had in the last four years.

I wouldn't count Lincecum out either, but the fact is that neither one of these guys is likely to continue this pace. They could potentially end up with an ERA under 2.00 at the end of the season, heck, Greinke ended up with a 2.16 ERA last season pitching in the AL.

However, assuming Halladay is relatively close to Lincecum in ERA, he'll probably have a bunch more wins as well as the benefit of playing on a big market team. I really doubt Lincecum would be picked over Halladay for CY it their stats are close.

Well, my Sox sucked ass again tonight.

Ozzie keeps trotting this guy out:

Why is Mark Kotsay still on an American League roster?

He could still play several more years if it was in the National League. I was watching a game the other day only to find out that MIGUEL CAIRO is still in the bigs. He's playing for the Reds.

Ozzie loves him because he's grindy.
