NBA Officials for tonight's game have decided to gift wrap the game for the Orlando Magic. Weak fouls against the Celtics but the Celtics need to get mugged to get a foul.

Are yall aware Perkins is also gone for Game 6? I just cannot get over the fact that A) they called him for a foul on Howard B ) they called a tech on him/ejected him for WALKING AWAY from the ref

Perkins was battling down low with Howard and was called for a ******** foul. He was pissed about the call but was walking away from the play to avoid getting in further trouble and the official slapped a tech on him (his second, auto ejection) and that was that. That was embarassing for the league. I'm still in awe that it actually happened. The tech put him over the limit and now he's suspended for Game 6 unless the Celtics make a comeback.

Let me get this straight. Dwight Howard nearly takes Pierce's face off back in Game 2 and isn't even called for a T, yet Perkins walking away from a play is called for one? Wow...

His first technical was BS, the second one doesn't seem completely unwarranted, he was hardly just walking away, though... but you can't complain too much since Pierce didn't just get a flagrant foul for a two handed shove.

I hope the NBA does the right thing and revokes Perk's technical fouls and let him play in game 6. They damn well should. Hopefully Big Baby is ok, b/c he has been great off the bench so far in the series. I hope Nate Robinson can play a bit more b/c he could provide some energy and scoring. This series is too similar to the Bruins series, both teams went up 3-0, lost game 4 in OT, and got blown out in game 5. The Magic have seemed to have mastered the double screen, which the C's can't defend.

Nope, I believe a 3-0 comeback has only happened 4 times all together.

 

Anyway, I'm not a Celtics fan but its unbelievable that Perkins got called for the technical foul and was ejected. Complete BS.

Prior to 2004, hockey was the only sport that a 3-0 collapse occured in (twice at the time, now 3 times). It would be an epic collapse if the Celts lose this, and seeing as I like the celtics (albeit am admittedly only an NBA fan for the playoffs) I am a bit perturbed by their crappy play. The Magic are the better team, and when you have that team down on the floor, you gotta put the foot on the throat. Game 4 was the game that got away (akin to the 2004 ALCS). If the Celts lose game 6, this thing is over

They rested the starters too much in game 4 and it bit them in the ass. Who cares about rest for the starters when game 1 of the finals doesnt start until like tuesday

I just saw the footage and I think that the first technical was absolutely unexcusable and should be rescinded. I can understand the 2nd technical though. While I think that it's hypocritical to call the 2nd technical based on earlier play in the series, I can still understand why Perkins was called for it. With that said, it's a moot point since the first technical was so ridiculous that it should rescind itself. I think that the ref should be suspended for game 6, not Perkins.

Perk will play in game 6, his second T from game 5 was removed. Baby said he will play, but I doubt he will after only 48 hours after suffering a concussion. Sheed, I don't know whats up with, back spasms and pain I assume. This team is screwed if we have Perk, Scal, and Sheldon Williams covering Dwight Howard.

JJ Reddick, to be fair, doesn't have the reputation that goes along with having five (legit) technical fouls in one postseason.
