Rivera's attempted 1 save more than 4 outs this year and he didn't look too hot.

It's kind of amazing that you literally just made that up. Completely made it up. Out of thin air. Yet you get on Jacko for not being in touch with reality.

Yeah, I get it, he got beat by Bay. But he attempted seven, not one, and converted six of them.

*Not including postseason, where he is 3/3 on save attempts that are more than three outs.

No chance for a ball today.

AJ was simply filthy. Jesus, when he is on, he can dominate a lineup of all-time greats. Damn...

Read this article in today's NY Daily News.

Now...to all of you who doubted...

f*** YOU.

Gom is stealing lines from my posts and giving them to the Daily news as quotes. Can he be banned for this?

Gom as quoted by the Daily News:

"If I catch it, I throw it back on the field and then I get home and think, 'I just threw away a World Series homer hit by a future Hall of Famer."

Is he worthy of a rotation spot for the Sox?

The reason i don't like Pedro for the Sox is not stuff or ability. It's health.

He'll be three years removed from the surgery next spring. He's been fully rehabbed and regained significant arm strength and his velocity is better than it was when he was with the Mets before he went down with the injury. If the sox are going to go for a surgically repaired or injured pitcher, I'd prefer Pedro over Sheets, Bedard, Harden, or most others, because he is probably healthier than they are. Obviously, I would prefer a young healthy pitcher over Pedro, but that would involve a huge cost in either prospects, cash or both.

It's not the surgery, Clint.

It's his body. Can you tell me with a straight face you think Pedro would hold up over a full season in the AL East?

You could make an argument for him being healthier than Sheets and Bedard, but Harden had no arm trouble last year, and between Pedro and Harden, because of stuff alone, and probable desire to build value for the FA market, i'd go with Harden.

By the way Dipre...if you put me and you in a room' date=' you'd lose. I'd shoot you.[/quote']

Your fingers are too small to pull the trigger.

Let's go back to the fact I was written up in the New York Daily News today. This is the important topic of the day.

And how much exactly would you pay for Lackey lol?

that was my reason for the lol, I'd still like Lackey though, but im with you out of all the players listed I would take Harden over all of them, including the beloved Pedro.

It was his bum arm that was causing his leg injuries. With his arm repaired and rehabbed, I think he can pitch a full season. I think he'll be more durable than Wakefield has been the last couple of years. I don't see him making 35 starts, but I could see him making 25-30 starts. Harden's arm is on borrowed time. It can blow on a moments notice. Plus, I think he will want a multi-year contract whereas I think Pedro will sign for 1 year for much less money. I see Pedro as the better value, seriously.

Harden at 1 year and Pedro at 1 year.

Who do you want?

Harden at 1 year and Pedro at 1 year.

Who do you want?

At the same price, I take Harden, but if Harden wants $8-10 million and Pedro will take $3 plus incentives, I go back to Pedro.

You don't need to worry though. Pedro has too much personality, spunk and controversy for the taste of this FO, which prefers blander personalities who they consider to be "consummate professionals" like Smoltz. They'll never sign Pedro at any price.

Well i'd love to have Harden's "bland personality" here if he's gonna bring the high 90's heat and filthy splitter along with it.

we prefer consumate professionals that doesnt mean no emotion, what's wrong with Papi's personality? or JD Drew's personality? or Jason Bay's Personality? and since when have Pedroia and Becketts personalities been "bland"? and who the f*** cares? they are here to play baseball not to go to your sunday afternoon quilting class.

I dare you to find two more "Exteme" personality players than Youk and Pedroia.

I'll wait right here.
