Whether or not I believe in jinxes isn't pertinent to the game thread. The fact is, there are some unwritten rules that one is supposed to abide by, and not mentioning a no-hit bid, however young it may be, is at the top of the list. I figured a fan of Spudboy's stature would know such a rule, but apparently not since he disregarded it against his own player. If he goes two for two with the shutout, I will kick him in the nuts.

Well given that he's coming back from a shoulder injury, is in a tie game (thus far), is prone to the big inning, and is backed by the best bullpen in the majors (which is coming off limited use in the Rays series and an off day), I wouldn't mind taking him out here.
