I woke up this morning with money in all 4 pockets,bleeding from the eye sockets,whatever I was drinking had a lot of limes in it because I had citric acid burns on my tongue and I was 300.00 short of what I thought I went to sleep with. I never ever drink and drive but my car was in its usual parking place this morning even though my entire body was sticky and I couldnt believe I was alive.This is usually when someone calls me and asks ""is that you wearing that feather boa wearing assless chaps on you tube""?...Christ almighty.

I dont know what possesses a grown man with diabetes to get festive on Wednesday evening with a bunch of 20sumthin goatee wearing humps but as you know all I do is give and today I hurt inside from giving too much...

At this time I want to thank the good people at Dupont for making today possible.

You know why you do it, Crunch. Somebody has to make sure those 20sumthins learn which end is up and who better for them to learn from? And the truth of that statement is embedded in the fiber of your being (as well as the scarring of your liver) to the point that you have humbly accepted the responsibility of the task, no matter what the cost. It's so giving, so altruistic, such a selfless act that I'm sure most of the uninitiated can't even begin to comprehend the depth of your generosity.

This was worthy of a ban, but Bill James still has a high profile paying job with a high profile team like the Red Sox after defending Joe Paterno who lied on the investigation of a serial and known child molester. Pumpsie seriously got banned because he thinks our team stinks this season? We have a few other really obnoxious jackasses here, but they are tolerated.:thumbdown

If we want to improve the board because we don't like people 's opinions, I have a list of posters to submit to the mods for banning.

It's an inexact science. Over the course of the years there will be tough judgment calls made when someone who's been here for years makes a post and doesn't get banned because of a good track record where a newer poster might not get the benefit of the doubt from a similar post.

 

Heck, most people who have been here for a year or two have been banned in one way or another. It's a tough job policing the boards and I appreciate the (general) leeway given in situations where a permaban may be in discussion.

 

While I wish people around here wouldn't drop like flies, I believe that everything happens for a reason. For example, if I didn't get banned from Soxprospects back in 2008 I probably never would have come here. Or I'd never have grown up in my forum behavior which would have led to me getting perma banned years ago for fighting GOM, JE, or Crespo.

 

Then again if I got permabanned here I never would have met a particular girl who took the will to live away from me. I guess I'm here for better or for worse.
