He trusted 3/5 of his rotation on a 42 year old knuckle-baller, a highly over-rated Japanese 5 inning pitcher, a 42 year old coming off major surgery, a pitcher coming of injury clearly not built for pitching in the AL East, and a young kid who has yet to prove anything at the major league level. That's all I'm saying.

I'm usually more optimistic but I believe Red Sox are 2-15 of the last games in the Trop. Something about the Rays/Trop that Boston is really struggling with, never mind their general recent struggles since all-star.
