With the BP getting used last night tonight would be a great night for Penny to work deep into the game. With Smoltz pitching in NY, it would be helpful to have a rested BP. Penny hopefully has some control of off speed pitches tonight so the Rays aren't sitting FB all night.

On the bright side, David Price actually has a higher ERA and WHIP than Brad Penny does.

Ok, I hate Penny AND his hair. I don't have a good feeling for tonight either so I'm wearing my lucky shirt. But I'll tell you, nothing scares the s*** out of me more than thinking that Smoltz is starting the Yankee series. I saw that today and, well, just sighed. Poor guy's gonna get lit up like a roman candle.

I'm thinking about starting a fund for the Red Sox so we can buy a win against these guys. The Rays can use the money and we can use the win, so it seems like a win win deal. And donations are tax deductable....
