Jacko is the resident Yankee fan forum troll. Every move the Yankees make is shrewdly intelligent, every move the Red Sox make is un-wise and risky.

This is the first time since I've been here that HHM has posted, though I've seen him in archived threads.

ah Jacoby. How does the crow taste. To be honest with you, Jacoby and a700 were the biggest flamers per se after the yankee guys got nabbed for PED use. Crespo, SOTK, and a few others made some joking comments but nothing too bad. Regardless, let this be a pointed reminder that roids were and still are prevalent in the game. No team is safe. Nobody is clean. And nobody should care IMO.

I would be interested in seeing some of those posts, because I'm pretty sure I did not care about A-Rod using steroids.

That's my take on it in a nutshell. It's more complicated, morally, for me, but still...pretty much it.

I'm actually more concerned with the "lawyers" who illegally leak the information in dribs and drabs - as opposed to ALL the names - it's obvious there's some kind of agenda for them. And not too happy w/the media who are willing to print medical information that was supposed to be anonymous and private (not to mention still not legally available) for the sake of headlines and "reporting". I mean, it's not like this List is Watergate material.

The people who leak the info should be behind bars.

And no, that doesn't make me in favor of or approving of steroids.

Me too. I joked about it, but I didn't for a second think my team was immune nor did I really care.

I'm tired of the whole issue. Anyone that believes any team was clean is naive. I'm sure the Sox have had plenty of players that have used PED and other banned substances. The history of baseball is littered with players that have used all types of substances. But we keep watching the games. And everyone in the game has continued to make big money.

God help anyone that has taken steroids without a Doctor's supervision. Does anyone remember Lyle Alzado (sp) from the NFL? He came clean about using steroids and he suffered an agonizing physical demise on national television. Anyone who watched his frequent visits to The Johnny Carson Show will never forget how he just died before our eyes. It was gruesome.

As long as there is so much money at stake, players will continue to try to gain an advantage.

I've always had a bunch of Sox on my list of suspects...Nomar, Ortiz, Ramirez, Tek, Trot, Kapler, Troy Oleary, John Valentin...

...and a bunch of other MLB players including Thome, Sheff, Edmunds, Magglio, Berkman, Burnitz, Piazza, Caminiti, Bagwell, Brian Giles, Albert Belle, Pujols, Sorrento, Juan Gon, Sierra, Matt Williams, Jeff Kent, Soriano, Posada, IRod, Andrue Jones, just to name a few...

and I have zero confidence that Griffey Jr and Jeter are clean.

That said...I don't really care about this latest news as I've not cared much about other revelations regarding PED use. I believe that more than 50% of MLB players are/were using, so I can't get worked up over any disclosure.

What does piss me off is (1) the excuses, denials and outright lies these guys tell when they're caught and (2) that some fans buy their ********.

They're not my heroes or role models or friends...so I really don't care much what they do.

The worst thing about this whole ordeal, is that we are hoping one day, a clean guy re-writes the record books, and one guy is on his way to doing that, but one day he will also be on the list, Pujols.

Anyone watching this s*** on ESPN right now, im gunna rip my f***in TV off the wall, calling the f***in championships tainted.

f*** you assclowns, every single title since 1986 is tainted then, since every f***in team had someone who did something they weren't supposed to. f*** them.

Don't forget Arod, he is the best candidate to break records.

No, Arod has already been tainted, every record he sets is fraud.

Pujols has yet to be proven a cheater, but one day he will be, just like every single successful basball player between 1998-2008.

I'm about 90% sure Pujols is on something.

Your missing the point. Thats what I am saying.

We all hope that someone comes along and breaks all those records who is clean, right now that person is Pujols, but he will disappoint all of us, just like everyone else has.

So what, we inverted the principle now?

Guilty until proven innocent?

As far as i'm concerned, it's the other way around.

yeah I just saw that f***ing ******** like everyone has said every team has someone on something and more than half the players now or on PED's

Our f***ing championships are in no waampionships are tainted

more names come out they will rea;ize that every team is tainted and all recent championships are tainted

I think it is time we said f*** steroids and stop caring because it is a part of the game and if you ban people for it you will end up banning all the good players and effectivley make baseball suck

time to get over it and move on it's not that big of a deal

I will.

You're so sure Pujols used, what proof do you have?

The list that his name is on, which will be slowly leaked, 4 per year over the next 20 years, or until the person with the names decides to stop playing f***ing games with the integrity of baseball. You honestly dont suspect just about anyone with any success over the last 10 years? You must be a real baseball fanboy, obviously not concerned with integrity, since that has already been taken away from the game a long, long time ago.

Strawman.

We're talking about Pujols.

Do you, or do you not have proof that Pujols has taken steroids?

Santa Claus is real. You really want to believe that too huh?

Again.

Do we have proof that Pujols has used?

We have had reason to suspect every one of the names that has come out lately, either by articles from anonymous sources, Canseco's finger-pointing, the Mitchell report, or the unofficial list.

In which one of those has Pujols appeared?
