Figured I'd bump this topic since we've gained some members since it was last posted on.

Also edited mine and added the Great American Ballpark after going to a Reds game back in May.

MSU' date=' how was the Japanese baseball experience?[/quote']

Just saw this after re-reading the thread, but it was one of the coolest sporting events I've ever been to (and free at that). Totally different from your typical MLB game. Both teams (Fukuoka and Hiroshima) had their own bleacher sections where the fans would wave those giant flags over the outfield wall as well as chant/cheer non-stop. It was a lot of fun. It was just a regular season game but after it was over they had a player of the game ceremony and brought a stage out on the field and interviewed the guy for a few minutes and translated what he said to the crowd since he was Hispanic. They also had cheerleaders come out on the field every few innings too. All in all it was just a great time. I hope to go back to Japan eventually and maybe catch a few more games.
