Initially, I thought his challenging your opinions and assertions was good. Admittedly, I know less about baseball than both of you. But after a while, the personal attacks became distasteful and boring. I like what everyone brings here. Including the Yankee fans.

 

Repeated comments about catheters and nursing were not acceptable. Insulting yourself,Crespo, Kilo, CoCo, and YOTN all in one day was his nadir.

 

It all culminated in insulting us all as a community.

 

Again, he seemed to be a bright young man. Just not quite mature enough to distinguish between passion and anger.

We picked our own topic... I did mine on how Plaxico Burress had every right to be carrying guns with him that night he accidentally shot himself, and cited reasons such as he's a celebrity target, and all that s***. Nobody was convinced, the point with these was to initiate class discussion - which I did - I just lost the discussion. The exact details are a little hazy.

I disagree, but only for one reason. It was an illegal firearm. If he had a permit and the club allowed firearms, I'm all for it. But if you're going to get drunk and stupid enough to shoot yourself in the thigh, perhaps you shouldn't be carrying anyways.
