I know what its like. I saw the banhammer once. Coming into a new site and constantly attacking a long standing member is a bad idea. It may start out funny' date=' but eventually the attacking spreads and before you know it, its forum vs newb and newb doesnt last. This is a Red Sox web site. Most all of us have some Massachusetts in us (and I live here). We are a group of thicker skinned, tough to love people who dont take s*** from anyone. Coming in and attacking off the bat is a great way to start a shitshow.[/quote']

 

Initially, I thought his challenging your opinions and assertions was good. Admittedly, I know less about baseball than both of you. But after a while, the personal attacks became distasteful and boring. I like what everyone brings here. Including the Yankee fans.

 

Repeated comments about catheters and nursing were not acceptable. Insulting yourself,Crespo, Kilo, CoCo, and YOTN all in one day was his nadir.

 

It all culminated in insulting us all as a community.

 

Again, he seemed to be a bright young man. Just not quite mature enough to distinguish between passion and anger.
