Heck yeah. I grew up in Brownsville Brooklyn NY. Lets just say that even though I've messed up alot I got a second chance at life in Boston. Met my fiance here have a good career and my own place. More then I ever had or deserved before. So call it what you want damn right I'm walking around with this fruity happy go lucky attitude everyday.

So, jason bay got 2 at bats then got pulled (for a Crawford) and i believe all the other starters stayed in for a 3rd. kevin youkilis got a PH who i tihnk everyone would say is better then anyone else in the AL at first. and oh yeah, the 2 pitchers that have the most wins in the mlb didnt even pitch. i under stand that beckett pitched on sunday, but it really seems wierd.

Yep. It would have been nice to see both of them, particularly Wake. But we need to keep the big picture in focus. The rest will do both arms good in ht long run.

I agree. Best case scenario the Red Sox players get declared All-Stars and then don't play. The props are nice, but rest is more important than anything.

if Maddon had an agenda, why would he have picked 4 reserves to be on his team? hell, if he really had an agenda, he would've pitched Papelbon, Wakefield and Beckett in consecutive innings

I think Maddon managed the game well. I think Wake was just glad to be there and have the experience.

 

Crawford deserved the MVP for saving the game and Pap's ass. Great job by Mo. I predicted AL 4-2. Did anyone predict AL 4-3? Just curious, not that it matters.

 

The next 2 baseball-less nights will suck. Looking forward to Friday!
