I think Maddon brings him in, he hinted about it in a few interviews, i think we will see Wake, I think Maddon really would like to do that for him.

A half a season is too small a sample size to come to any definitive conclusions about defense for the two.

 

They are comparable players offensively and defensively, but one costs half as much as the other.

I do, and so would anyone with a basic understanding of sabermetrics. If you don't believe me google ZR and Orlando Hudson and prepare to be humbled. There's a reason ZR was improved upon.

 

I like the use the best defensive stat available, call me silly for that if you want. But don't claim ZR is better than UZR when every sabermetrician in the world would disagree.

 

Regardless, Youk has been the better hitter this year. You can't argue that unless: A ) You don't understand statics B ) You're a homer. You remind me of Jacko, which I haven't seen in a while, hmmm...
