No! It lasted about twenty minutes or so. I could not see out the windows. My street is about 6o feet from my house and I could not see it. The house was being pelted by hail and it was so loud I could not hear the TV.

 

I was in a hurricane in the early sixties (I was about 7 or 8) while living in Wood's Hole, Cape Cod. Today was the most dramatic display of weather that I can recall as an adult.

 

The blizzard of 1978 was pretty significant, but no where near as violent and sudden.

The tarp is being rolled up at the moment. It stopped raining about a half hour or so ago.

 

Looks like we might be OK for the start of the game. (Note: This, of course, is subject to the unpredictability of New England weather. There is, after all, a tornado warning for tonight.)
