"I will calmly wait for my induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Don't I have the numbers to be inducted?" said Sosa,

What a f***in' douche bag. I guess steroids and a corked bat can take one far. At least in one's mind.

The Bash Brothers were big boys to begin with. When they got bigger it was no big surprise. When it was revealed they had taken PEDs, again, no surprise.

Look at pictures of Bonds and Sosa from early in their careers and then look at pictures of them when they started to put up huge power numbers. Big time juicers. Their bodies look completely different.

So in 2013, Sosa, Clemens and Bonds are all up for the Hall. Should be interesting. I'd have to guess it's all three or none. I'd go with all three.

Also the Dominican kind of seems like a hub for users.

Wow, surprising eh? No.

7 maybe 8 yrs ago or so many of us had this guy on our suspected list, along with Sheff, ARod, McGwire, Bonds, Manny, Palmiero, etc. Slowly they drop as had been predicted.

Kind of adds validity to the suspicions that have been expressed regarding such players as Bagwell, Luis Gonzales, Juan Gon, Jim Thome, Albert Belle, Brady Anderson, Andrue Jones, Tejada, Nomar, Glaus, Rolen amongst many, many others. Have we bene proven wrong yet?

I guess the pitfall is that it's tougher (impossible?) to prove a guy never used than it is to prove a guy did use. However, the more names that come out who were suspected, the more it makes other suspicions carry more weight.

Well, it is a whole other country where the pharmaceutical and medical industry regulations are, shall we say, not what they are in the U.S.

Sorry, should've said that their pharmaceutical and medical industry standards are probably more lax than they are here in the U.S.

Here in the U.S., doctors would face revocation of their licenses and jail time for prescribing testosterone and estrogen pills and other PEDs to otherwise healthy professional athletes.

Athletes don't acquire PED's through presciption here, that would net the prescriber a lifetime ban from medicine and/or jailtime if proven.

What really makes acquiring PED's here easy is the black market.

It's cheaper and of course, much more difficult to identify a user who's buying but not distributing but who also doesn't live here.

FYI, our PDCC (Pharmaceutical Distribution Control Code) is modeled to the exclamation points off of yours, the real problem is in enforcement because of the existence of the aforementioned black market and the ease of contraband from both Haiti and the rest of the Caribbean.
