He was tagged before the foot made contact with the plate.

Just saw the replay again from another angle.

Where did he get him, because Coke was flailing away at the upper body and looked to be fanning?

He got him on the leg. They froze it on the overhead view.

Back of the right thigh, to be more specific.

Yeah and he's adjusting well for the most part.

Not really. He has not been very good this year. And how do his career numbers against the O's from the first time he was a Yankee matter at all. Besides the fact that it's a very different Andy Pettitte, it's a very different O's club. I'm not saying they're better, but they're different.

Singleton was saying that he never touched the plate, but he clearly did. The onle question was whether Coke got his leg before he hit the plate. He missed his entire upper body as he went by.

Yeah, Singleton was wrong, but the replay proved the call to be correct.

When was the last time we won three straight games scoring 2 or less in each game

I don't know exactly, but as per ESPN, the Yankees have won three straight games by a 2-1 score for the first time in 18 years.

actually, we never did that before. The last mlb team to do that was the 87 Twins

The Yanks are down in a hole right away. Brian Roberts doubled on the first pitch, was moved to third on a grounder and then scored on a single.

One of their runners will run towards the dugout instead of first base on a missed third strike with the bases loaded or something.
