I know, I know...

I have 7 in a row in the upper deck 41 game plan, 3 in the bleachers full season plan.

Non-premium games at face value. Mets/Phillies/TB/Boston at a slight increase for Talksox fans.

Let me know if you're interested.

I'd also be interested in trading Yanks/Sox in the Stadium with someone up in Fenway for Yanks/Sox. Relative ticket prices, I know Fenway is more than Yankee Stadium.

No free tickets to the new stadium for your good' date=' handsome, ban-wielding buddy Youk?[/quote']

Tell you what...I'll treat you to Yanks/Orioles at the Stadium, you treat me to Yanks/Orioles at Camden.

I've never been to Camden.

Yo I been meaning to IM you I have an order of business in which I'd like to discuss briefly.

Do it quick. I put the tickets up at noon today, and I have 27 sales. People are truly insane. $12 tickets are going for $100 bucks...Yanks/Sox...in May.

Do you ever use up all 13 or is selling them your primary objective (not an accusation' date=' just curious)?[/quote']

I miscounted, I have 10, not 13. I counted my bleacher seats twice, lol.

I keep at least one for myself. I also offer them to clients and sell them. My father comes in for the playoffs, and so does my brother.

I originally got 3 tickets for us, and I started selling the games I couldn't go to. It kind of kept growing.

The funny thing is this: I posted them at 12 noon yesterday. The tickets cost me $8656. In the first 24 hours, I sold $3100 back. Opening day is gone, but I still have nearly every Red Sox game, all the Tampa games, and two of the Phillies games. Not to mention the Cubs exhibition opener.

If the Yankees make the playoffs...I'll be a very happy man, especially if they win the World Series in seven games against the Mets, after they beat the Red Sox in seven games in the ALCS.

I can't even imagine what a game 7 against the Mets would go for in the new Stadium.

Just ask Obama' date=' he's real good with spending big numbers.[/quote']

Yes and Bush was a fiscally sound man...

What the Obama administration will be spending will make the Bush Administration look like the dollar store.

Bush is a tough act to follow.

Of course I would wager that a fair amount of the money Obama will be spending, will be because of Bush.

Listen they all spend too much. If in the end it does help then so be it.

Hahaha I usually stay away from the political discussions.

I was only trying to wind up the anti-Obama crowd.

Obama is spending for his own agenda, not because of Bush. Bush was responsible largely for the 8 years. You'll have to give up that crutch and be prepared to judge the current President based on his policies going forward. Recessions end with or without government intervention within two years. If this one lasts longer, it will be because Obama's policies have caused it to last longer.

Obama's entire budget proposal for the next 10 years has nothing to do with Bush. It has a lot to do with Universal Healthcare and Cap and Trade Emissions policy. It is ironically entitled the "Era of Responsibility."

a700, I was only saying these things to poke you in the ribs.

It's a complex world when it comes to economics. And I don't pretend to be an expert. But the experts here have been spot on since I got here about America's economy. It's a bit weird actually how right they tend to be. But from what I've gathered so far, they expect the drought to continue for the next year, and by the end of the 1/4(2010) they expect things to be turned back towards a more positive outlook. I guess only time will tell.

But I would suggest instead of complaining about the plan, you should hope it works:D

Which Plan? The stimulus? I am doubting that the so-called stimulus bill will get the job done, but I do hope that it stimulates the economy. It is his budget porposal with all of the permanent additions to the government budget that I hope fails. It has nothing to do with stimulating the economy. It doesn't even pretend to be aimed at economic growth. It represents a huge and permanent increase in the size and scope of federal government, and it will hinder the effects of the stimulus bill. I don't have to hope for his budget proposal to be a failure. If it gets passed, it will fail as surely as night follows day.

How the f*** did you manage to turn a "selling yankee tickets" thread into a political debate?

For heaven's sake, dude!

Sadly, this isn't new.

SFOC started this one though, not a700.

Shame on all of them, then!

(Wow, i felt so old-timey typing that "shame on them!")

Go back and read my comment it was a joke. BTW, I'll stand by it since it is based on factual data of Obama's record spending and bailouts.

Do you have any games available in late July?

Every game in July I still have.

Hey, I'm not meddling in politics in the DR, so what is your problem with it.

Why does every thread devolve into a politics thread?

I was just thinking that. It disgusts me at how often a thread turns into a argument over politics because someone has to make a political jab. It's not the person who made the jab's fault as much as it is the people that continue it. The old guy does it worse than anyone.
