If that's geared at the A-Rod's season comment... I meant that as in' date=' well, he's a pretty sensitive player, and having this hanging over his head probably won't help his emotions over the course of 09.[/quote']

CASHMAN, TRADE HIM. Eat as much money as you have to....but get his ass out of town!!

Nobody's making excuses at all' date=' none of what any of them did was right. But it's easy for you guys to all point fingers and laugh at the Yankees considering we had the most players get outed. Reason for that is the sources. If there was a New England source providing information to Mitchell we would hear about more Red Sox. I can't believe how ignorant some of you guys are being just pointing and laughing at the Yankees. [b']EVERYONE WAS DOING IT, from Roger Clemens, to David Segui, to Alex Rodriguez, to Craig Biggio, to Jose Canseco, to this one and that one and so on and so forth. It's sickening, my stomach is upside down right now.[/b]

3/5 of those players are Yankees. BAM. :harhar:

Pedro I'm doubting. Manny I'm doubting. Ortiz though...

Listen to you, you're so ridiculous. You are completely in denial if you think no Red Sox has ever used. go jump off a bridge you idiot. Listen to yourself right now. You really think steroids were exclusive to New York? You dumb prick...."name em up"...... shut the f*** up! There's plenty of them, just as there's plenty of KC Royals, California Angels, LA Dodgers, Texas Rangers, etc, etc, etc.

Not everyone, precisely 5% of players at the time

I'd really love to see the other 103 players on that list though

Jacoby better hope there aren't any Red Sox on that list because rather than take the mature approach that I've taken to the steroid controversy the whole time, setting my allegiance aside and looking at the GAME as a big picture, I'm going to relentlessly torture his little ass.

I believe I just said (or implied, but you're probably too dim to pick up on it) that I wouldn't doubt if Ortiz made an appearance there.

Go buy some Vagisil and try rooting for a team that doesn't have a boatload of former or current players busted for roiding up, you idiot.

That we KNOW ABOUT. We don't know everything. George Mitchell doesnt know everything. Kirk Radomski and Brian McNamee doesnt know EVERYTHING.

I bet there's no Red Soxs' date=' how many Sox players were on the Mitchel's report back then?[/quote']

CONSIDER THE SOURCES PEOPLE

Nomar' date=' Nixon and Kapler should make an appearance too.[/quote']

Kapler was a bench player, so I don't give a s*** about him. Nomar, with his recent injury streaks, has done little to convince people otherwise. Nixon, well, that would sting a bit yeah.

yeah, and 2/5 of them were Red Sox as well. Your team strongly persued a third one of them. STFU

Yeah, I'm not sure Clemens was roiding during his time in Boston, considering how much he ballooned after his career here was over.

LOL at 'you strongly pursued a third', as if that holds any validation. STFU

Steroids build muscle and lean out any fat. Most users have very little fat content. Ortiz has a chubby belly, and if anyone is wondering about Manny, get a copy of the 2004 World Series DVD and you will see the rolls of fat around his midsection.

I'm surprised there's only 104.

That's the list for people who failed the 2003 drug tests that were implemented for research and data purposes. They were ordered to be kept classified, and came without penalty.

The Mitchell report includes these former Red Sox:

Manny Alexander, José Canseco, Paxton Crawford, Roger Clemens, Chris Donnels, Jeremy Giambi, Mike Lansing, Josias Manzanillo, Kent Mercker, Mike Stanton, Mo Vaughn, Steve Woodard

Jacoby, if you think use by a Boston player is limited to these 12 guys you're sadly mistaken.

What makes you so positive Clemens never juiced in Boston, or tried it? You're just speculating. You have no proof, dickhead.

That's actually a fair point, Manny was pretty fat back in 05 too IIRC. Ortiz's recent sharp numbers declines and injuries, seemingly coinciding with the hightened awareness of steroids, is what worries me there though.

Pedro was a stick figure though through his career here. I'd be floored if he was roiding.

Educated guesses. I mean, if it looks like a rat, smells like a rat, but you don't have certain proof its rat... well, what then?

Declining performance and increased injury for plers in their 30's is natural. The only real performance indicator for roids is a palyer like Bonds, whose performance dramatically improve in his mid to late 30's. That is just not natural.

I wouldn't go as far as to call the Mitchell Report a conspiracy, just that you need to consider the sources. They used whatever information they could get, and it just so happens that most of it came from former employees of the NY teams. No conspiracy, he just used what he had and it just so happens that he had more on NY guys than others. If the sources were out of Texas you would have more Rangers and Astros. It's whatever, but everyone thinks that the yankees are guilty more so than any other team, but don't consider the lack of sources close to the other 29 teams.
