But aside from him, no one else gets it. Their cheerleaders are dancing on the dugout. The only ones who can appreciate the win are the players.

 

And the players do deserve congratulations. It's amazing to see David Price perform on such a high level, but it sure will be a pain banning all of the people who join the site with "cowbell" in their name over the next few days.

As upset as I am at the result, I'm pretty proud of this team. On Thursday, there was no way you could have told me we would be here. We made an absolutely epic comeback in that game and we won an awesome Game 6. Game 7 was a fantastic game, but quite simply put, we didn't play well enough to win. One first inning run isn't going to beat a team like that. It was an awesome season, we weren't supposed to win the first round, we weren't supposed to win Game 5, but finally it came to an end. I loved every minute of it, and I loved spending it here. Peace*.
