well, this game re-inforced a lesson I learned in 2004. it really is not over until its over

I missed this game due to a project at work. I figured it was OK to miss it because there would definitely be a game 6 with Dice vs. Kazmir. While it didn't play out like expected, at least not in the starter matchup, the result was the same. Wish I hadn't missed it, but there's always the archive at mlb.tv.

I'd like anyone who bashes JD Drew for non-chalant attitude to understand one thing about him now.

 

The guy has now produced 4 huge hits in the playoffs in his 2 years in Boston and it's because of the fact that he takes the same attitude towards an at-bat in April as he does in the late-innings of an October game that he can produce those hits.
