I don't believe Auburn is in the top 10 after the pathetic display tommy's team put on saturday.

Georgia looked very beatable on Saturday as well. Their injuries may have crippled their chances of a title- I don't see them getting through the season without 2 losses...

Did you get to watch any of it Sean? I was not impressed. Actually, about the only thing I was impressed with on the offensive side of the ball was the kid's arm. He had no protection.

His TE dropped 2 first downs on 3rd through the middle too. Ugly.

i was going back and forth tommy, saw most of it like carolina fumbling on the 1 going in..

i see florida opens at 7.5 in tenn this week,bc laying 10.5 on the road in orlando against ucf and the pats open as a 12pt chalker against the fins

Georgia's qb' date=' Stafford, is actually very good- problem is his o-line is poor and his receivers aren't great[/quote']

The problem with Georgia's o-line, and one of the reasons I thought preseason #1 was ridiculous, is that none of their linemen have played their positions before. They are all starting at either tackle, guard, or center for the first time in their football careers. That is being exposed.

Part of that reason being because their #1 OL, Trenton Sturdivant, is out for the season. That was a CRUSHING blow having him go down before the season even began. I still feel that Georgia is an elite team, but with the ridiculous schedule they have I expect them to have a few losses along the way. If they were to go undefeated in the regular season much less win the SEC Championship, hats off.

@ Arizona State

vs Alabama

vs Tennessee

vs Vanderbilt

@ LSU

vs Florida

@ Kentucky

@ Auburn

vs Georgia Tech

That is brutal.

I don't think they're top 10 material either, but the Tigers are still a solid team. They aren't adjusting to the spread offense very well with a young QB running the show. I don't really see the point of them switching over anyway - they have had good bruising running backs for years and that has worked just fine, but whatever.

We'll see what Auburn can do vs LSU next week. Can't wait for that one. Tennessee should be a reasonably tough game, they lost to UCLA, who got f***ing pounded this weekend. Speaking of UCLA, I'm so pleased that they got killed Saturday. Neuheisel was a joke Week 1.

Will anyone punt to Brandon James again this season? He just housed a 76 yd punt return, his 2nd in their 3 games this season, against Tennessee for Florida to go up 17-0.

I love seeing Tennessee get owned in their own house.

Yeah, he really is. Hard to believe UT has had 2 posessions inside the Florida 5 and come up with 0 points. I love the confused/pissed off/disoriented face Fulmer keeps making every 3 minutes.

Clausen is growing a bit today. He's faced a ridiculous pass rush and is learning to get rid of the ball and to throw to his checkdowns. His second half has been very solid. And if it wasnt for Floyd's fumble in the red zone, we might be winning this game

Actually, you'd probably be good at analyzing college football. Just below prime-time. Sounds your speed, Jacko.

Les Miles just outcoached Tom T tonight. I thought Auburn was the better team on the field. That defense is physical. But, Miles was able to steal a possession with the O/S kick, and then take advantage of it with the HB option pass.

Agreed. I about had a heart attack (and I have no dog in the fight whatsoever) when Lee threw that pass towards the sideline that resulted in the go ahead TD late in the game. That pass was BEGGING to get pick6-ed. I thought the Auburn defender was about to nab it. Also, Andrew Hatch got CLOCKED on that play that gave him the concussion. Now that was a hit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the LSU go three and out on the drive following the onside kick?

I didn't like the idea of playing the two QB's by Les Miles -- especially since the difference between the two is one is marginally more mobile than the other. I think the idea of two QB's is really only a good idea when the two have differing skill sets. Then again, the backup did come up big in that second half. :dunno:
