Any news on Kiwanuka at the end of the game? Looked like he got hurt.

That's the one position where the Giants just can't afford anymore injuries.

He said on his postgame interview that he's fine.

Yeah the Redskins offense is pretty bad.

Yeah, it's going to take them awhile to get used to the system. I thought the Giants defense played alright. They kind of laid back in the second half, didn't blitz too much, and just contained the Skins. That's not going to work against other teams. I feel like the Giants realized early that the Skins had nothing tonight and just coasted. Good game, but there is definitely a lot of work to be done.

Oh, and Jacko, I thought the season was over?

I thought they "laid back" all game. Not laid back in the sense that they didn't apply pressure through their blitz scheme, as they did that all game. To be honest, I wouldn't call it laying back, more like leaning forward. Due to Campbell's tendancy to take what they give underneath, every member of the secondary was keyed on jumping into the play once he threw short. This was a very good strategic call from the Giants coaching staff. Campbell better get used to the pathetic 4.5 Y/Att, or whatever it was last night, because the book has been written on him. Teams will not respect 15 yds beyond the line of scrimmage until he starts making them pay for it.

the skins havent had an offense in years,Jason Campbell sucks .

Colt Brennan actually looked pretty good in the pre season, they have no reason not to give him a pop.

Agreed on everything, except that I felt the Giants were only sending the front four for the most part in the second half, especially in the fourth quarter.

I love the way McCarthy eased Rodgers into the gameplan.

Rodgers - 18/22, 178, 1 TD, 6 rush, 36 Yds, 1 TD against a GREAT defense

Favre - 15/22, 194, 2 TD against a defense of a 1-15 team.

I'll take it for sure.

So, Denver looks pretty legit. I'm not watching, but I am following online. It appears as if Marshall has gotten under Cromartie's skin. He's torching him and gotten him to commit 30 yds in penalties on top of it.

Yeah, I think Rodgers is a legit QB and it'll be refreshing to watch someone who actually plays smart in the pocket.

Color me very optimistic about what I've seen from Rodgers.

Yeah, I may have spoke too soon about Denver's legitimacy. They look more than capable with the ball, but they can't stop the Chargers today.

Wow, Seattle loses 13 yards on 2nd and 3rd down, having to punt from deep in their own end on 4th and 23. SF gets the ball on the Seattle 49 with a minute and change left, score knotted at 30.
