Spagnulo is an interesting suggestion from that article. The culture (defense first) and personnel (4-3) would be a fit for him.

I like Raheem more than Spagnuolo. Raheem's popular with the players and knows the system.

Actually, one of the things about the Tampa 2 is players just under the prototypical size for their position but who are faster, which allows for more aggressiveness. Spag's system is all about aggressiveness and speed, so the personnel would be a good fit, IMO. However, it appears irrelevant as Spagnuolo is heading to St. Loius.

Another team going to the 3-4. This could mean a thinner crop of players for those 3-4 teams...on the other hand if NY gets a coach that wants to go back to the 4-3 it could even out.

We hear Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels’ announcement that the team would transition to a 3-4 defense was welcome news to Broncos DEs Jarvis Moss and Tim Crowder, who were the team’s top two picks in the 2007 draft. Moss and Crowder struggled to get playing time last season, and both looked extremely disappointing in limited duty. Moss is expected to become a “stand-up” defender in the new scheme, where he should be a better fit, and Crowder appears more suited for a role as a 3-4 end.
