Youve done nothing but rip on this team since you joined. I just checkedyour posts. Other than your intro you haven't posted outside of the gamethread forum. You need to either start posting in OffTopic and other forums or Im going to assume you are the intentional troll you appear to be and actf***ing accordingly. Shut the f*** up.

People have jobs. I only care about the games not the off topic threads to be perfectly honest. I came here to talk baseball and right now the performance of this team is not up to par. I can understand if they were lacking talent or such things that small market teams lack.

Take a look at the post all-star break Youk, You can't tell me that this team went from 17 over 500 at the break to this level of non fundimental baseball. We are all Redsox fans here with a few Yankee fans and i'm sure alot are fustrated. I am sorry if my negative posting is bothering some of you, but this is a negative stretch in the season.

And that's why you are stupid. They don't find anything. They play the game and they either win or they lose. Sometimes, good fortune is on their side.

A .270 hitter has a 27% probability of getting a hit when he's up. When, as a team, you get more hits in situations advantageous to scoring runs than in other situations, then fortune is on your side. People don't find extra talent, and a .270 hitter has the talent of a .270 hitter.

Now quick, say something cliche about chemistry.

So in your opinion - fortune will be reversed in our side as a law of average - right?

Talent wins games. Defense wins games. This team has both the question is are they motovated anymore.

At some point, it always does, or it wouldn't be a "law".

The reason I'm adamant about this point, is that there have been quite a few studies of "clutch" hitting. They've found that, over the course of a career, a player's stats in the given clutch categories (RISP, Close and Late, Runners on, etc) vary wildly from year to year, and taken in aggregate are very close to the player's career stats.

Will someone fill me in on the backstory about what Orsillo and Remy were saying about the Lowell Spinners becoming the Mike Lowell Spinners for a day? I guess if they've done it the last couple years, I am really out of the loop. :(

He gives it right back.

No big deal the Angels are so damn good even if Beckett held them they would have Reemed guys like Hansen and stuff. Tip your caps we don't belong on the same field with the 2008 Angels.
