Here we go Sox fans. The first home game of the season is tomorrow. Time to unravel that 2007 World Series banner and hash out some rings! Then to add icing to the cake, let's pound the Tigers. Here's the game stats:

Teams: Detroit Tigers vs. Boston Red Sox

MLB Scouting Report:

Tigers: Rogers looked sharp in his first outing this season but took the loss after receiving no run support. After missing almost three months last season due to injury, Rogers started the 2008 campaign allowing two earned runs on five hits in six innings. Now he looks to spoil Boston's home opener in his 26th career start against the Red Sox. He has a 11-7 record and 4.18 ERA vs. Boston in his career. Fenway Park is one of five current Major League ballparks in which Rogers has a losing record (5-6).

Red Sox: Matsuzaka gets the honor of pitching the Fenway Park opener. This, after pitching on Opening Day for the Sox in Tokyo and then getting the ball at Oakland in the home opener for the Athletics. Matsuzaka was brilliant in his last start, limiting the A?s to two hits and a run while walking none and striking out nine over 6 2/3 innings. This time around, he goes against the heavy-hitting Tigers. Matsuzaka?s only career complete game to date came last year against Detroit, when he fired a gem at Fenway on May 14.

It's clear you *******s need me in these threads.

I'll make it clear. The Sox win tomorrow and win 2/3 and then do the same against the Yanks.

Lets please not be in last place anymore. These game times are f***ing with me, I hate the time difference! This falls smack in the middle of a required dinner and a 5 page paper I have yet to write.

It looks as though MLB.tv will not be showing pre-game festivities. That's just awesome. I got to watch the freakin' Blue Jays opening party (in those horrid uniforms), but not the Red Sox ring ceremony?

JD needs to be moved the 5 spot and lowell 6

Lets wait for that judgemment, I know lowell is struggling a lil bit right now, but he was arguaby the most productive hitter last year, including hitting cleanup multiple times.

You took the thought right out of my head. Maybe we're jumping th gun a bit, but Drew and Lowell so far seem to have traded places.
