I figured we'd have issues with weekdays starting that early, which is why I think a weekend day is best. So, how about Sunday, March 23 @ 11:00 am? Late enough to either go to church or recover from Sat night, early enough to not fudge afternoon plans (except for yeszir).

Unfortunately I'm in Stockholm that weekend and don't get back until Monday. Does everyone have off that Monday because of Easter? If so, 11 am to essentially any time on that Monday works for me.

I realize with 12 of us that organizing is next to impossible, and since I'm clearly in the weirdest position here in regards to the time difference I won't be too upset if you guys have to draft with out me. I'll just make a kickass autodraft list.

The last possible draft day is 3/23. What about the previous Sunday, March 16 @ 11:00 am EST?

that wouldnt work for me because i'll be on my way back to school, and our dorms dont open back up until 12, but if i have to make an autodraft list and miss a little bit of it, it's not a big deal, i'd be there for the 2nd half

Switch it back to Thursday March 20th @ 8:00 PM EST. If you read the posts it appears that everyone but Yeszir can make it. Even he can make it, he'd just have to adjust his sleep schedule.

Pull an all nighter, essentially. I don't want to inconvenience everyone due to my situation. Basically that thursday would usually work for me, except I have a very very early flight the next day.

If you want to Wednesday, March 19th @ 8:00 PM or the Tuesday or Monday before that, I could make that no problem.

Wednesday 3/19 @ 8:00 it is. I'm fairly certain we will not get consensus on this issue. Everyone that wants to participate in the live draft needs to do what can to be available at that time.

Whats with the scoring changes? Whats NSV?

Read the thread. I didn't get much feedback to my earlier post. I apply consent through silence on this forum.

To all,

Something else occurred to me. In a 16-team deep league, talent will be at more of a premium. With 20 min innings, it would be easy to fall short if you had one or two pitchers on the DL. One solution is to increase roster spots for another P. That compounds the talent is a premium problem, IMO. Another solution is to increase DL spots from one to two so that the needed spot starter can be picked up without throwing a decent pitcher into the waiver pool.

Does anyone have a preference here?

Increasing the DL from one to two would be helpful. However, if the concern is whether achieving the 20 inning min. might be a problem, then lower the min. innings requirement. The reason for the min. innings pitched is to help prevent a manager from overloading a team with relievers. Although, this may be possible in a 10 or 12 team league, I find it highly unlikely that it could be done in a 16 team league. How many top relievers are there ? Twenty to trhirty, even if you add in top set-up men you'd still have a tough time stacking a team. Most teams will end up with 1-3 releif pitchers. The only teams that would have a chance at 3-4 would be teams with the top 2 ro 3 or last 2 to 3 picks where they would be able to piggy back picks. They would do this at a cost to other areas of their team though.

Good point. And, with a change from W to QS, the value of SPs is increased. Ignoring SP in favor of loading up on closers in order to win the SV category every week means practically giving up the QS category - which wasn't as likely when it was Wins (which closers can get and sometimes aren't the result of a good start). How about 15 min IP?
