On a positive note, if this is the final Red Sox game of the season, it's nice knowing that it'd the last time we'll see Crisp in a Red Sox uniform. :dunno:

You know whats sad? We have had a new SS every year since 04, and every year I wanted them to stay. Now that we finally have a SS for 4 years, I couldn't be happier than to see him gone.

I'm glad we gave up the superior defense for the additional offense that Lugo brings. Since we let OCab walk each new SS has been a progressive step down. If it keeps going like this, in a couple of years we'll have a guy playing SS with one arm.

With as many times as he's quit on the team this season, it's a wonder he was even here to quit on 'em the last time. Now would be as good a time as any for him to take one of his "two week vacations from the Red Sox"... or a permanent one.

I hate Dane Cook, but I actually like the "there is only one october" slogan thingy. Obviously there's only one month of October but it's the idea of October that there's only one of. I still hate Dane Cook, though.
