And I think you may agree with this request, Kilo, but how about no more of this Chicken Little ******** we've seen so much of lately?

I'm sick of people going into panic mode because we happen to fall behind at some point in a ballgame. Seems like some people have their fingers ready to push the panic button even though we've got the best record in the League.

I agree 100%.

This is a good team, folks. Flawed, yes, but it is a good f***ing team. A small deficit early in the game should not inspire the "Woe is us" comments I've been seeing lately.

We're playing in October as the AL East champions.

That being said, win this series and make it damn near impossible for the Yanks to do anything.

I'm still waiting for the ripping you promised if we won the game (which we did on that Ortiz walkoff).

Every team is flawed, people. Chill out. Thank you for bringing this up, See Red.

tonight should be interesting with DiceK

I have a feeling that he's going to come up huge tonight. I don't know why, but this is the type of outing that could really get him going. He's known to have ice in his veins and pitch incredibly well in big situations. Sure, he's got some more pitches on his arm than in those years, but I think he'll be fine.

I'm just hoping the fact that Dice K has struggled against the Yankees this year, and the fact that he has struggled lately, will mean bad news for him.

Nice come back win the other day.

You know what sucks? This series means almost nothing to both teams. I can't believe it is a September showdown with the Sox with virtually nothing on the line. I can't see the Tigers making up the ground against us, nor us catching you. Should be fun baseball, but really doesn't mean anything in the big scheme of things. We're both in the playoffs in my mind. It's just a matter of who is going to face the Guardians and who is going to face the Angels. We win the first matchup, and the next two are toss ups. Hoping for two out of three for the Yankees.

If you sweep, you make it very interesting. And with the way that the Sox have played against the Yankees recently, it's not out of the question.

Time to hit around the just above league average (103 ERA+) $100 million man. Get things going right, boys.

Is there any chance that Manny will be in the line-up at any point this weekend?

He was hitting out of the cage earlier in the week, I wouldn't be shocked if he's available to PH.

Have to miss the game because of work, unfortunately... I'm sure they'll have it on a TV there, though... just win tonight guys and the East is ours.

we're fine as long as we don't get swept. we get swept and we lead by only 2 in the loss column and the way the Yankees are playing, the division would look very much in doubt

Enough of this "we're fine if we don't get swept" ********.

Win the goddamned series. Bury the f***ers NOW.

Anything less than 2/3 is a disappointment.

For me to be comfortable with the division, they need to win 1 game. However I wouldn't be satisfied. I'd be much more comfortable with playing the Yanks in the LCS if we can take 2/3 and ultimately split the season series (I think).
