A good showing in the Motor City could be a HUGE boost to this team going into the All-Star Break...

Let's go JT, give us something we can work with and we'll get the bats behind you.

Andrew Miller was Daniel Bard's teammate at UNC who was drafted very high in the first round if I'm not mistaken, right?

Am I the only one who doesn't think guys need rest in the series before the all-star break? They have 3 days of rest coming up. How much more do you need!

yea its pretty stupid, im gonna be mad if we lose and bailey didnt get on base once

Posted
Youkilis has been dealing with a sore quadricep for the past month, rest much needed. Ditto for Ortiz who's been dealing with his quadricep all season, a factor into why the power outage. Even moreso as he will travel to San Fran to be the starting AL 1st baseman and man the field

its the big muscle on the front of your leg stretching from your groin to the knee pretty much

and on a side note, gotta love mlb.tv out of town announcers

Tiger homer announcer 1: "The Red Sox are sending 6 players to the all-star game whereas the Tigers are only sending 5."

Tiger homer announcer 2: "That just ain't right. we went to the world series and we have less"
