Damn Mariners won't lose...however, they are in a stretch of 44 games in 45 days....so I'm hoping they will just burn out soon. Still waiting, lol.

This is the Mariners wet dream. The Yankees at the Angels. If they win, they gain ground no matter what.

Oh, I see, you guys were waiting to beat them. That explains the the 3-4 against them thus far. Sneaky bastards.

We haven't played them since May. We are hardly the same team. 5 of those 7 games were started by either Igawa, Rasner, or DeSalvo.

That's not a fair argument at all because DeSalvo pitched extremely well both times, while Rasner was great the first time and solid the second time. Nobody that the Yankees throw out there this time are going to do a better job than those guys did.

Ok, fair enough. I didn't actually look at their lines. Still though, the bullpen is much improved since then as well (you wont see colter bean trotting in from the bullpen), and we will be home where we score more runs. Assuming the same quality of starting pitching when we play them again, I think we win the series.

That's pretty myopic. They are hardly the same team. You were 17-19 after the last series, they were 17-16, 3 ahead in the loss column. What was the gap at the time of this posting again?

Both teams are very different, I think it's fair to leave it at that. But to defend 26's comments, I think he means that the Yankees are much different in terms of their roster. It's fair to say that the Yankees' roster has gone through a significant overhaul.

The Yankees have 32 games left. They have won 72 games so far. Is 95 games going to land them the WC? Then they can only afford to loose 9 games going forward. I am thinking out loud how they can achieve this.

Another game at Detroit - I predict loss with Moose going.

Boston series at home - 2/3

Tampa Bay at home - 3/3

Seattle at home - 2/3 I think they must take this series for WC.

@KC - 2/3

@Toronto - 2/3 - May be tough.

@Boton - 1/3

Baltimore - 2/3 - They have been a problem so far for the Yanks.

Toronto - 3/4

@TB - 2/3

@Baltimore - 1/3

I predict they loose 12 games and do not make the wildcards. What do you guys think?
