The same could be true of Wakefield. How many times have I seen him give up like 5 runs in the first 3 innings and then work his way into the 9th.

He has bad games it seems about 1/3 of the time. 1/3 of the time he is unhittable, and the other 1/3 he battles and gives up 4-5 runs. One can be sure that 3 runs is a surmountable lead. If he can hold them it would be nice.
