Schilling didnt look his best but end result couldve been worse, he'll get the Tigers next time out at Fenway

 

Bullpen held their own. Jerry Remy has Alex Cora as the player of the game but in my opinion its Javier Lopez. Coming in with the bases loaded with 1 out he made sure it was still Boston's game to win

 

Offense was just crazy good today, most of teh damage against the tired O's relievers

So now the Sox are tied for most runs scored in MLB and only Oakland (by 4 runs) has given up fewer in all of MLB.

Riverside, one consolation in getting the game blacked out on MLB TV today was that I got to finally hear a post-game report. Alex Cora lauded his team as a real bunch of professionals and maybe this is the year when catch-up might not be successful against us. Francona has said repeatedly that he likes this particlular team of his and the way we came back from last night's loss was pleasing to all of us Red Sox fans. Tomorrow, we have Josh for the rubber game and though nothing is automatic we should feel good about our chances, and if I can be greedy for just a second or two, it would be really nice to see the Mariners beat the Yankees again tonight. The more daylight we put between them and us will come in very handy is we have a mini-slump somewhere along the way this season, hopefully not the June 1-3 or Sept 13-15 series against the Yankees.

Tom Caron is going over how Okajima came in on after Curt to save the game with bases loaded/1 out I think it was Lopez, he should be given some credit. He then went on to say he has an 0.93 ERA, nope its 0.48.
